Earthing Pro MV

Mobile Static Grounding System

A static grounding verification system for mobile loading operations, temporary work sites and vehicle-mounted applications, designed to confirm true grounding status and support interlock control.

  • Earthing Pro MV is a vehicle-mounted mobile grounding monitor for tanker trucks, vacuum trucks and hazardous-material service vehicles operating away from fixed loading gantries.

  • It not only checks whether the grounding clamp is connected, but also first verifies the selected local grounding point and then continuously monitors the vehicle grounding loop, helping reduce safety risks caused by static buildup.

  • It is suitable for mobile loading operations, temporary work sites, remote transfer, tank cleaning, material recovery, spill response and other temporary work locations.

  • In mobile loading operations and temporary work sites, static risks should not be overlooked.

  • Because operating points are not fixed and site conditions are often more complex, conventional grounding methods are more likely to result in false grounding or unstable grounding conditions.

  • Earthing Pro MV helps confirm grounding safety before operation begins, reducing the risk of static ignition and improving safety in mobile applications.

  • 01
    True grounding verification

True grounding verification, verification of the selected grounding point to ≤1000 Ω.

  • 02
    Clamp connection detection

  • 03
    Grounding loop status monitoring

Grounding loop status monitoring, continuous vehicle-to-ground loop monitoring to ≤10Ω.

  • 04
    Interlock output

Interlock output, one standard relay output with up to three outputs available.

  • 05
Suitable for mobile and vehicle-mounted applications

  • 06
    Reliable for industrial operation

Reliable for industrial operation, support for permanent, structural and temporary grounding points.

  • 07
OLED guidance with live resistance and connection status.

  • 01

Connect the clamp to the selected local grounding point.

  • 02

The system tests the point’s connection to earth and requires ≤1000 Ω.

  • 03

After the point is accepted, the controller continuously monitors the vehicle-to-ground loop to ≤10 Ω.

  • 04

The OLED shows the current test state and measured resistance; the relay becomes permissive only while both criteria are valid.

  • 05

Keep the clamp connected until pumping, hose drainage and residual material movement have ended, then return it to the monitored holder.

  • Mobile loading operations

  • Vehicle-mounted grounding applications

FAQS

What is Earthing Pro MV used for?

It is used for static grounding verification in mobile loading operations, temporary work sites and vehicle-mounted applications.

What is the difference between Earthing Pro MV and a fixed grounding system?

Earthing Pro MV is more suitable for applications requiring mobile installation or vehicle-mounted use, while fixed grounding systems are better suited for permanent loading bays.

Can it support interlock control?

Yes. Earthing Pro MV can provide interlock output for integration with pumps, valves or control systems.

Why does Earthing Pro MV use two resistance limits?

The ≤1000 Ω test evaluates whether the selected field point is connected to earth. The separate ≤10 Ω measurement checks the metallic path between the vehicle and that verified point throughout transfer.

What will the OLED show at a temporary work site?

After CLAMP ON, the screen displays TESTING while the selected grounding point is evaluated. A valid point and loop display CONNECTED with the measured resistance and a green indicator. An invalid point remains non-permissive. CLAMP OFF and ENTERING STANDBY guide the operator after use.

Which grounding points can be used?

A permanent grounding network, an approved metallic structure with a verified earth connection or a correctly installed temporary grounding rod may be used under the site procedure.

Does Earthing Pro MV support a 12 V vehicle supply?

No. The specified DC input range is 24–48 VDC; an 85–250 VAC version is also available where applicable.
